Local Plan location should be more flexible

The location should be flexible (allow manual entry), drop down, or pick list.
I am going for a run but i am not sure where, The current location option I have is to pick a specific (searchable location/Pin drop).
Say i don't know where in the river valley I want to go running, but generally want to the "river valley" (collection of trails that stretches 30Km).
Also, if I want to do a games night at "My House"
